Hi guys,
Have any of you ever lowered your skimmer level to a dryer skimmate and achieved better colors in your corals???
This seems to be the case with my little skimmer on my 34 gallon SPS tank.
Once my turnover rate slows through my filterbox, my colors get more vivid and much nicer! So, I have cleaned my pumps this time and it's sped back up again. So I have decided to lower my skimmers stripping by lowering my water level and going to a very dry foam.
Keeping my fingers crossed. These little tanks are a #^#^%#^#@!!!!
Any of you other SPS guys experieince similiar happening in your tanks??? My new tank will have a 4 tank turnover rate per hour! No more of this crap!
Thanks!
