Not the absolute best I have used, but in the top performers. Other things to consider are their very low power use.
I 100% recommend super reef octopus skimmers, probably my favorite of all I have used....Bubble king, Skimz, H&S, EuroReef, Reeflo Orca, ATB, etc....SRO performs the best.
If you do go with the skimz, it will do very well for you. I'd have no hesitations running one again, its just not my top choice.
