I have a saebe hosted with a true percula clown.I also have a skunk cleaner shrimp that appears to be attacking thaesaebe while the clown does nothing.is the shrimp eating the saebe???
He's is eating just fine and from everything I read he would not be eating and would probably bleach out. I'm no leading authority I'm just going by what I have read. Is a foot note I am a chemist and am observing Anemones in fresh tanks. I hope to one day develop a Chem to help this process. But we first must understand.
OBSERVE, how do you expect someone to develop anything when nobody has a clear answer of exactly why they die. I understand the tank will have many cycle and first and foremost we want to just keep it alive.however if it dies we have equipment that we have developed with monterey bay aquarium that should tell us anything, but we have yet figured out a way to monitor with a ohm meter safely
Anemone is 1 week fresh in a 2 month old tank
hey hey reef central im candi an my husband and i set up a 90 gal with home made sump and a pro reef skimmer with 130 lbs of live rock and pc bulbs one week ago.yea
Cream colored with purple tips does not sound healthy...they should be "dirty" colered with a bit of a greenish cast to the body and tentacles with purple tips.
This is a picture of mine, it had a little problem with the overflow...you can see where the injury was healing in this photo...if your guys closer to the cream color in my photo, your guy isn't happy.

EDIT: Just saw your power compact post...good luck with that kiddo, it's not going to last under those lights even with regular feedings.
That is a good looking anemone, mine is lighter than that and has purple tips, thanks slot you have been very helpful
