Well I have just 1 cleaner shrimp in my 29G, 3 days ago I saw that it had eggs (idk how long it has been preggy).. 2 nights ago I sw him/her standing on top of the rock releasing lil shrimpies into the water column... they were indeed alive since I took some out and they were swimming. Only thing in my tank that's a pair of pom pom and a pair of sexy shrimp... both of which are still pregnant so definately not their larvae.

How did my cleaner shrimp release larvae!?? I had it for 4 months now, bought when just a small shrimp

Cleaners are hermaphroditic, so they have both male and female genitalia. However this does not mean they can self fertilize. Not to worry, thosugh, you don't have anhter shrimp hiding in you tank, single cleaners will carry unfertilized eggs from time to time.

unfertilized egg would mean it's not alive.. but these larvae were swimming around.. or jerk like motion...
