skunk cleaner shrimp

There have been a lot of successful captures. Unfortunately, most of what I've read, the larvae die around day 6, 28 or 60ish. Seems to be problems with different stages. These are all in various larval grow-out containers.

They are more difficult to raise then peppermint shrimp. I know of a few ppl who have successfully had Peppermint shrimp raised to adulthood. L. amboinensis have proven more difficult, some suspect to how they feed. There are varied ideas on feeding, from planktonic algea, rotifers, cyclopeeze, BBS.... no clear winnerrs though yet, still lots of trial and error.

I got a friend up the street from me with a 125 full of skunk cleaners they are about 4 months old right now but there has got to be thousands of them

What happens when he puts his hand in the tank?

I'll let my skunk clean my hand, but not the Fire shrimp (claws are 3x bigger).

It freaks me out when they clean me especially the peppermints. I have an army of them in the 90 and they get all over me anytime I have to stick my hand in the tank, it feels like they are piercing my skin.

Lol at the visual. Just think of it as a manicure with acupuncture.
