SLASHER'S....What are your SUMMER REEF PLANS???

I know that some of the folks in Saint Louis take a breather during the summer months....NOT ME I am going to work on my empty tanks til it hurts:lol:

So, what are you guys working on? Roy, I read your thread....hard to click that link to get to the large tank forum all the time though...time to move that puppy back to SLASH.

Any interesting new designs being made? Fuges, filtration skimmers in the make?

Since you asked, I'm finally getting my 240 back up and running. Why just yesterday I got a line on a bunch of new livestock. Once I get that in there and going I'm upgrading the basement fish room and putting up a fuge and water change tank and if it fits, a frag tank all-in-one as they say. I need to get the rack I want to set it all up on first though.

Sounds like fun is in the works! I need to figure out how to put a fuge on my tank...maybe the 375g tank can be a large, show fuge! That would solve some problems!

Speaking of summer plans Nook, I know that tanks are dry but do you have that pool opened yet? I was just looking at mine. I'm getting anxious.

this summer I will be dominating 32 credits at logan as well as continuing to work on the tank as if it were not summer

hopefully I dont have any heating issues as I do not have a chiller and dont plan on getting one

at the encouragement of others, I may look into actually trying to control my calcium/alk levels, but we'll see...it clashes with my philosophy of being lazy

Mine has been open since last Thursday. We have already been in it quite a few time. Tonight while I was out there the pool is already up to 80° woo hoo!!!

Solar cover will be going on hopefully this weekend.
