Hello. I have a spotted boxfish who's covered in ich and also seems to have a somewhat clouded eye. I'm treating the ich (day 2) with a pepper based medication 100% organic in the display tank, but am going to remove the liverock and hermit crabs and run the tank hypo-salinity for 5-6 weeks.
Im wondering if the cloudy eye will get worse or if it will get better by using the pepper medication in combination with the hyposalinity. I have also heard that using epsom salt makes the eye clear up. Can this be used in a display tank if a water change is done after the eye has cleared? Thanks in advance!
