Slime in RO water

I just used up all my RO water setting up a bigger fuge. and I noticed that there is a slime build up on the inside of the container.
Any one else ever have this happen to them?

Yeah, it has happened to me. Its bacteria that will feed off impurities in the water either introduced from the air or via TDS creep. It shouldn't bother anything in your tank. However, it is an indicator that impurities are getting in. I would bleach the reservoir and try sealing areas that are exposed to air.

i've had a red slime problem in my main system for a while now. It comes and goes and I atributed it to cheato harvesting, or lack there of. could it have been this the whole time?

Could be cynobacteria, but more likely a species of Aeromonas. Many species of Aeromonas can live in RO water. Generally, Cyno requires some phosphate source.
