i bought some mushrooms, about 10 on a rock and all the sudden slime was on 1 then within 48 hours it turned all the mushrooms to a slime, i have pc lights, any input, thanx, my water is good and the other mushrooms are fine, is this slime contagous or just something that happens, thanx
 
Sometimes corals slime over as a protective measure. If you're able to, use a turkey baster to suck the slime or blow it off of them. It's probably a survival method because of a change in environment. Keep an eye on them to see if it clears up in the next couple days. Remove the slime when you do see it. The slime probably isn't contagious but is toxic to other corals. Corals slime up naturally to protect themselves. There's also a chance this is a bacterial infection but doubtful.
