Slimer placement

I bought a green and blue slimer today. What are the placement for both of them? Light and flow? Thanks

I typically like to put stags at the bottom near an open space where the can branch and grow - A. Youngei can/will be growing out of the water before long if you do a good job.

Light and flow has never mattered too much in my tanks, but I have plenty of both.

I was trying to glue to slimer to rock, but it was sliming too much and couldn't get hold to the epoxy.

pick a small piece of rubble and use a rubber band to attach it. it'll grow into the rock and then you can put it where you want it. i have one on the sand bed, he's grown a lot in the last couple of months.

Mine is not a frag , but a small colony. How to glue a colony and that will hold?

Drop of super glue gel on the base, small ball of putty, another drop of super glue gel on the other side. Place it where you want and hold for a minute, or so.

I usually put some glue on a small rock. Then put the coral on it. Next I will put something underneath it. Then let it cure for 5min or so then put it in the tank to let it finish curing.

Have STN today. Will see if it will spread fast and if not i will frag it a few days later. My blue slimer don't have STN . Bought it both from the same lfs.

I got a green slimer that doesnt look like he's doing his best. Thoughts? He might be too far back not getting enough light or flow...

Looks better than mine. I had some flesh come off but looks like it's slowly coming back. Noticed I get more growth when i feed .

Looks like you not getting enough light to bottom half of coral. You can try tilting it to get more light.

They like high light and flow but will do fine in moderate light and flow. I have seen them blasted just inches under 250w MH and nearly direct flow. The higher the flow the thicker the branches will grow and they tend to grow denser clusters of branches.
