Looking for anybody with experience with Epibulus Insidiator. To my knowledge the largest measured was 16.1", they come from places ONLY bearing acropora from the east coast of Africa to Japan and they eat crabs, shrimp and small fish hiding in the rocks and corals with their telescopic mouth.
I saw one I really liked a while back at a LFS and finally stumbled upon what it was the other day. I understand given the fact the largest wild caught individual was 16" it will be significantly smaller as an average specimen confined to an aquarium. Considering they are so widespread and in abundance around desirable coral I figured that some may have kept them. However, I have struggled to find much of any first-hand information on them. I am considering this fish for my 125G FOWLR (feel free to check out my thread for some cool pictures).
