whats goin on . I forgot all about that stimulis refund from the gov. :D i think maybe it might be a good time to get some stuff i needed.

I spent a good portion of my stimulus package on "81 in a 60" courtesy of Missouri Highway Patrol on my way to the hospital a week ago:rolleyes: Got squeeze revenue from the taxpayers anyway you can I guess:lol: They were on a sting mission last weekend.

what happened, your detector not pick them up?

I got "pulsed" going under Gravois at HWY 270, he was on the on-ramp and had me cold. The detector went off with no room to react. I know this is a typical "trap" they use but was in a hurry that day as I had stopped by the local QT for some snacks for a lunch in the ICU that day, so I was going a little faster than usual.

This weekend I went by the same spot each day doing 68mph as other cars went racing by me at 80mph:o However, there was no sting in effect this weekend.

same place about 3 months ago one of them got me for a 84 in a 60. Got you beat by 3MPH.

He was really really ****ed when he could not find that I was drunk or had drugs on me.

500 bucks out the window!!!

That's why I had to go to court a few weeks back. It was a 54 in a 25, I had to pay 95$ and go to driving school to not get the points. It's this Saturday and I could think of a million things I'd rather do than to relive my driver's ed days. Atleast I don't get the points though.

A good Attorney would keep the points off with no driver's Ed classes. I got popped last year while working for my company for doing 41 in a 25 construction zone. I paid a total of $675, nothings on my record. I have no choice though, my CDL is my career :(.

Each city has to make extra money somehow so they can have those $1200.00 chairs that "You paid for it" revealed.

I missed that one but everyone in the office is talking about it to say the least.

wow was the judge just mean???

I was stopped and ticketed for a 53 in a 20 in the hanley industrial courts about two or three years back now and only paid like 130 total with no points and no driving school. I guess I was pulsed since the radar detector didn't go off untill I could already see him around the corner of the building

Just another way of taking advantage us the hard work public. Taxes from gas isn't enough to keep us from getting really nice things in this hobby that we could use & love to have, So another way to suck us dry is "claim" that the police department could use a raise to give the over worked officer's a little extra pay. Who wouldn't want to see the guy's placing their lives on the line get a well deserved raise?? Then you fine out that the extra taxes you paid out of your check went to buy $1200.00 chair's for Chiefs' and upper Administer's. That's nice....Just sweet man!!! Now I will never get that new light system that I was going to save $10 a week for. But hey as long as some &%^$ get's to sit in his cushy office all day on a $1200.00 chair I guess I should be happy I paid for it.

Just another reason they call me "Stupid" :D

It all depends on where and when, Some cities are worse than others. In North County there is a city about a few square miles and there are 4 cops and they pull you over for going 1 mile over the speed limit and it's usually a hefty fine per mile. Note for anyone passing through Calverton Park. Other cities most cops wont even pull you over or if they do, it's usually a warning. So, it all depends. I opted for the drivers school, I didn't have time to get one of those traffic lawyers you see on commercials during Jerry Springer. So I had to go it alone. And it was cheaper than a lawyer too.
