Slurp Gun

With all the talk on slurp guns. Has anyone used one to catch a fish out of their tank? I have a 6 line that needs to get evicted. If I cant get him out safely. I might be spear fishing in my tank soon.

Just drain the water in the tank until it is shallow enough and grab him. You can then put the water right back in.

I've done that in my smaller tank. But in this one i've got too much live rock and corals to do that. Much easier to make a wrasse kabob or slurp him out of the hole he sleeps at night in.

I just want you guys to know that you royally suck getting to go out and collect your own stuff!

:D :p

Whats even worse is that the college I go to (Middle TN State) has the 2nd largest SCUBA program in the nation, and we're landlocked.

I don't agree with him about not taking a few specimens off the reef as blackthunda77 and I go out and only take what we can use in our own tanks. But I do think he was reffering to trash on the reef when he said "and trash" In other words if I was out there and could remove some fishing line or a six pack plastic thing or literal garbage.
I was refering to trash such as cans, bottles, plastic bags, anchors stuck in the reef.....
