Small crack in MH bulb

So Im rebuilding my canopy to make it taller so I can add a reflector to my existing 250w metal halide and in the process I noticed a small crack on the back side of the bulb. It still works fine, but I'm wondering if there's any issues others know that I should be aware of.

Also as I mentioned above I'm adding a reflector where there wasn't one before I understand this should boost my par rating a bit so are there any concerns that I should be aware of on this front either?

I deff. wouldn't be using it anymore.

as for adding the reflector you may want to shade the light with some window screen for a few days to acculimate the corals.

Is it a DE or SE bulb. If its a DE, your ok if it still works. But an SE has the glass around it to filter out the UV light. This can seriously burn your fish and corals. So take that into consideration. I know they are expensive to replace, but if it needs to be done....
