Small Earthquake at 2:16 am in okc

Did anyone else up to feel the earthquake today.... Wow that was weird n also scary to see ur tank shake. Didn't last too long... At least here in nw okc
 
No, but I think I was driving. ;) My girlfriend slept through it. The aquarium is still standing so that's a plus.
 
So thats what the dogs were freaking out about. I would have slept through it if it wasn't for them. Seems that there has been a lot of these little things lately.
 
Shook the whole house and all the tanks and even woke my prego wife up who can sleep threw a twister lol
 
I was just waking up at that time, but my wife was already up. Sonya said that she felt it though. Thought it was the train near our house. We're up in Perry. It was felt for quite a distance. Had people in Tulsa on my facebook page posting that they felt it.
 
Wow did you feel that one just now? I live South side and i felt it. All my tanks were moving and the windows were moving.
 
It was very cool. I was at my dad's after the OSU game and felt it. I'm definitely going to have earthquake insurance at my house after we close
 
USGS confirms a 5.6.making yesterdays 4.7 a foreshock! The 5.6 is the biggest in Oklahoma history.:beer:
 
Wow, that was a good jolt we felt here in Yukon. First thing I was checking was all the tanks. Hope this is the last we have here in Oklahoma.
 
unfortunately it wont be the last. I-35 sits on one of the largest faults in the USA. Ours are different because the plates rub together rather than one moving over the top of the other. Thats why ours arent as dangerous, but they still shake the crap out of your house! I had to run up to Celia and when I sat on her bed it was sliding around the room like it was on skates. the second floor of our house really moves. House is almost 94 years old so it must be built well. there were several small aftershocks. we get them pretty regulerly out on the east side. I'm just glad that was near sparks and not Jones as normal. Hope all tanks are good. Mine splashed some water out but all is ok.
 
Man I felt that one in Clinton... Hope my tank is ok in nw okc. What's weird is the quake happened almost the same time as the one on Friday. Wonder if it will happen again today.
