Small Frag Tanks from eBay Seller

Not sure if this is john from advance acrylics , but if they are i've heard nothing but good reviews about his craftsmanship , look up (90sshooter) he just got a tank made by aa..

Let me chime in here...

This IS John @ Advanced Acrylics... He recently started selling his tanks on eBay and from what I heard they are going fast! I know why! Really truely great craftsmanship! (You would think he is paying me to advertise... lol!) His work inspired me to dabble in some DIY acyrlic projects. I love to try new things and ALWAYS have some sort of project working :D In fact I just cut up my OLD sump to use the acrylic to practice with :D

So I bought a frag tank from one of those eBay listing and picked it up from John a while ago. The price was good and there is no questions about the top-notch quality!

Yesterday I found out that now there are quite a few listing on eBay for auction (instead of By it Now): http://shop.ebay.com/macilwu/m.html?LH_Auction=1&_ipg=&_trksid=p3911.c0.m301 It seems that he is going to clean up his stock.

Some of the auctions ended with very low price ( I saw a 19"X14"X8" fraq tank went for $13.00 yesterday!) The tanks can be picked up locally so they will be very good deals for us in socal. I just want to share it with everyone.

Isnt John located in Garden Grove? His location on ebay is San Jose. Or am I thinking of the wrong person here :)

I thought John lives in Riverside, but his shop is in Anahiem.

BTW:
I have a 65g custom tank that John built completely to my specifications in less than 5 days. It is 75% 1/2" acrylic and the back wall is 3/8" acrylic. Wanted to be able to use magnets in the back that arnet strong enough to go through 1/2". Also have a C2C weir overflow with bean drain system. This tank, as well as my frag tank from him, are built with excellent craftmenship.

I have pretty high standards, but his attention to detail puts a smile on my face. I would buy again and again!:clown:

i Picked up my tank from John too. his shop is located near Fullerton Airport area. He makes pretty nice tanks.... I wish he start making some glass tank as well.

Bought my tank from John and had it shipped to my door in like 3 days. It was a stock item so I got it fast. He told me he is in Anaheim area....Love the tank, haven't set it up yet though.

I picked up my tank at the shop on Roland street at Buena Park which is very close to Fullerton Airport. The tank came with sticker of Advanced Acrylics. The contact person's name is John. I also just checked that the cell phone number he gave me is he same as that of John of Advanced Acrylics someone posted a while ago here.

he used to have his shop in San Pedro, now its in Buena Park.....John's tanks are legit and he sells on ebay. He told me his brother helps with the listings...maybe that is the reason for multiple locations?
