small-ish sand sifters?

Anyone have other thoughts for a sand-sifter that's on the smaller size?
Something along the lines of a diamond goby and about as effective. thanks.

This is an older post, but I am also looking for something just like mentioned above. I was thinking twin-spot goby, but when I read more about them it sounds like they are way to hard to keep alive longer than 6-months.

Sand sifters, in general are difficult because they deplete the living critters in your live sand bed.
