Small order?

Is it possible to do a small order? I wanted to maybe get three football sized (weight not shape) rocks, maybe 20 to 30 lbs. With the shipping minimums is it cost effective or should I look local?

double the rock weight...will give you the total weight...so yeah that works....will be about $60 for shipping..

Yes it's worth it.......you won't find anything even close to TBS rock at your LFS.


I get a kick out of looking in the big live rock tubs at the different fish places around here, and the stuff they call "premium" Fiji or whatever rock at 7.00 - 10.00 lb. and most of it looks like rocks I could dig up from my back yard. :lmao:

Richard... if I am adding 30 lbs to an existing system should I cure it all first, add a piece at a time with a week in between, or just put it all in?
I have a 90gal with about 100lbs of LR already in it. Thanks

Just put it all in..........as long as it's a fully cycled established tank shouldn't be any problem.

.....just to add, TBS rock does not require 'curing' in the sense that other 'dead' rock from overseas typically does.
