small worm coming out of my zoo's

I have a very small worm that i can only see at night when the zoo's are closed its black and white and maybe 1-2 centimeter and has made a home inside my zoo mat any idea what this is?

You might have some starfish actually.

Is it black and white banded like the pics above? I have seen those small brittle stars in several of the colonies I have gotten in.

Not sure, but I can tell you I don't think it's an issue. That pink cluster is my fastest growing (need to frag it or move it to a bigger rock) and is always wide open and happy.

Its not a starfish it is banded black and white and looks like a tube but its not its a worm. It has made a small hole right into the matt when i shine the light onto it it slowly goes back in the matt and the hole disappears. I dont think its harming and anything either just curous to what is.

I did just dipped all my zoo's because i paranoid about nudis(I did find a sundial snail) so i will see if the worm comes back tonight . Hopefully all my zoos have survived the dip.

One of my colonies has that exact same thing. It sticks out of a hole in the live rock. My zoos don't seem to grow near them.
Is everyone sure these are not an issue to worry about?

i was going to say the same thing its bst to ro/di dip the colony and see if that kill's the worm like critter!!!
