Smallish tank questions...

I am currently looking for a small Pico tank for my sons room. He is 9 and really getting into corals and salt fish. He wants a small pico for his room. I thought about just getting a 10G and piecing everything together. Then I stumbled upon these.

They both look nice, just looking for something to grow easy corals (zoa, mushroom, toadstool) small clow goby and some crabs and maybe a sexy shrimp.

This one is really nice but not sure I want to spend the money on it.
