I cleared some gems a few months ago & it took all the will power I had not to borrow one until he got too big for my tank. The FWS inspector said that if Brad Pitt were a fish that's what he'd look like lol.

Yellows can hold their own, pulling the other tangs might not be necessary, sounds like a good plan though! Congrats on the gem!

i am not to worried about it but to time out the other tangs makes me "feel" better in the sense that i did all that i could of....

Absolutely beautiful gem!! I think they are stunning. Old Town has a 2 &1/2 inch one they are now selling for $1500, if my tank was bigger that's where my tax return would go.

Hello all- caught squishy (chevron) and Spock (achillies hybrid) and put them in 2 differnt 20g time out tank for a couple of days and add the new ab/hybrid/ what have you into the system - going well -
