good luck

good luck

The snail is called arethius... I believe... burrows under the sand.. comes out when ever you put food in? They are great cleaners.. I had tons in my tank..

The crabs I believe are simple hermit crabs.. Also part of the "cleaner package".. Had tons of those also... Keep them really small.. when they are to big they get a little crazy..
Good luck!

So do I need to worry about them eating my good algae (coralline)... this is coralline yes?

the snails look like Nassarius to me and the hermit looks to be just a hermit. (there are tons of varieties) You don't need to worry about them eating coraline and it looks like you might have the beginnings of some coraline. I take it this is a newer setup?

Definitely nassarius- my favorite. I call them zombie snails. Watch the sand as you feed your tank and you'll see why.

And also hermits. Looks like maybe red leg?

Were they hitchhikers? If so, congrats! Saves you some money on your CUC. And your coraline is safe.

+1 on Nassarius; +1 on Hermit Crabs; Might be the beginnings of Coraline, but to me it looks more like the beginnings of a cyano outbreak.
