Snail Death HELP

I have a pretty matured nano reef tank with good water parameters (0 ammonia/nitrite, <5ppm nitrate). However, it seems that everytime I try to keep snails (astrea, turbo, nassarius) they always last a couple of weeks but then they just shut up and die. I was wondering if this is because I'm not monitoring my calcium levels closely and they dont have enough calcium to grow. Any other ideas are welcome! Please help.

How are you acclimatising them? they should be drip acclimatised where poss..

Is there enough food for them?

yes they're drip acclimated at least over 1.5 hours minimum. i have some algae in the tank and lots of coralline. plenty of live rock too

I see you have a nano (where water param's can fluctuate rapidly). Does the specific gravity or temperature fluctuate frequently and/or rapidly in the aquarium?

If you have a lot of inverts in the tank you should check the calcium levels, otherwise the salt you use SHOULD provide enough calcium to a small number of inverts. The salt I use (Coral Pro Salt) maintains a calcium level of around 480ppm (which is plenty) to the few critters and corals I have in there.

The temperature does not fluctuate at all its always around 79.5F, but the specific gravity may fluctuate between 1.025 and 1.027. I was just worried that maybe my corals and the coralline were extracting all the calcium, so the snails didn't have any to use to grow. Should that even be a problem?
