Snail eating Fungia!

Have you seen a fungia eating a snail? Here it is.

I woke up this morning wondering what is in the mouth of the fungia? I though it is giving live birth! Only when the shell of the snail is more exposed did I confirm it is a snail.

The snail must have fallen onto it or something else. It seems to suck the tissue out of the snail and swallowed until its mouth budges out!

So, for those whose snails are too many, you can throw them to the fungia!

Very funny and cool. I've kept Fungia for a while and I have never seen them eat something like that!
