are these eggs my snail is laying? it looks weird to me but my husband & i think it is possibly just the snail laying its eggs. if not, can someone tell me what it is?
do you think the snails will actually make it to adulthood? or do fish usually end up eating the eggs before they can mature? when i woke up to see this in my tank this morning i freaked out. it is one of the weirdest, most bizarre looking things i've ever seen in my tank! :eek2:
They will hatch out and yes some might make it, but that's a long shot. They have a prolonged planktonic stage, and if some can make it past that stage and settle you got lucky. Most will become fish/coral food.
