Snail eggs?

So my wife calls me at work and says she thinks we have bubble algae. So I start researching and read that bubble algae is either green or red (is this correct?). I asked her what color they were and she says they are clear but look kind of like silver beads if the light hits them right. She said there's TONS of them. I asked if maybe they are just small air bubbles, but she doesn't think so. I was wondering if maybe they are snail eggs? What do snail eggs look like? Are they clear(ish)? When snails lay eggs are there tons of them or do they only lay a few at a time?

some looks like a white string.. some are white bubbles

Kind of looks like the second picture posted above but many many more. This is the best she could do with her phone...

It is not bubble algae and doesn't look like any snail eggs I have seen. Looks like air bubbles possibly trapped on some algae

doesn't really look like bubble algae to me.

when my tank had bubble algae, it was dark dark green. Kinda like grapes. they grow in small clusters.

could be just air bubble.. i have tons of them after doing water change. they would stay under rock cliffs or under any horizontal things in my tank. take out a rock and check. Don't try to pop them in the tank just in case they are bubble algae

Not sure, those look like they are green? I'll take a closer look when I get home; she claims they are clear, with no color to them beside a slight silvery sheen. But she said she thinks that silvery sheen is just the way the light hits them. I'm hoping they are snail eggs, but have been reading old posts regarding bubble algae in case that's what it is so I have an idea of how to control it. From what I've read it seems like you can never really rid your tank of it, just manage it, unless you want to start completely over. All set there...

I'm starting to think they are just air bubbles. Gonna have to check first thing when I get home. Damn, was hoping I was getting some free snails

you just need to catch it early, remove that rock completely and treat it. people use syringe to suck the bubbles dry.

I use a sponge and scrub the rock clean and let it dry out for a few days...

bubble algae often occurs where sunlight hits the tank. if it is BA, try block out natural sun light

lol that's gotta be the biggest relief.. I had bubble algae on my chalice. Took it out and scrubbed it. next day, I saw thousands of bubbles on a rock. scared the crap out of me. ended up just being air bubbles trapped near hair algae
