Snail ID needed

[Flashy Fins]

I notice these tiny snails popping up in my tank lately; I think they are breeding, since some are extremely tiny and others just tiny, the largest ones about 0.5cm long. Someone in the hitchhiker thread thought they might be strombus snails, but I'd like to know for certain since I have several and don't know where they came from. I see them on rocks mostly, and I think they are more active at night. Thanks to anyone who can help.

if they dig themselves up from the sand when you feed, they are nassarius

I have several nassarius snails, so I know what you mean, but these don't do that. I find them on my rocks mostly.

Yeah, that's not a Nassarius, that's a juvenile Pollia undosa. They are true buccinid whelks, and are predatory, usually on other snails.
