These pictures were in another thread, but were trying to figure out whether it's a harmless Nassarius snail or a predatory Whelk. Thanks.

Will these whelks eat snails or just clams, wondering if they will be same for my aquarium. Thanks

Don't know, but most of them can kill other snails.
