Snail ID

I found this beautiful snail in my reef tonight. Does anyone know what it is and if I should remove it? It is orange with purple lines and has a kind of neck part of the shell that curves out & up.

Hi Kim,

It's Peristernia reincarnata, in the Tulip Snail family (Fasciolariidae). It's a predator on other snails, but it's such a pretty resident, I think I might sacrifice a few snails to keep it!

Thank you Don! It is very pretty. I haven't decided what to do with it yet. I probably won't see it again for several months, so I will have time to decide!
