Thanks a lot... Not a perfect match but i am sure it is under the same genus... It have a similar reaction too... I guess it is not really a pest...

Yes, it should be a nice guy in your aquarium. It probably has a fairly short life cycle. I believe I have seen this animal before, so maybe it is in one of the reef guides. Perhaps Leslie can ID it to the species level.

Cheers,

Don

LOL, yes, it's a bubble snail. We already have it down to family, and probably genus. See the link in my first post. We are looking for the species name.

Sorry, not in any of my guides & I dont' have much in the way of proper shell books (most of which don't show the live animal anyway).

OK, thanks for checking Leslie. A few of my shell books have live animal photos, I'll look when I get back home. Terryz, if it's on the Sea Slug Forum I've overlooked it, but it's probably a species that's not listed there. Why don't you send it to Dr. Rudman and see what he says?

Cheers,

Don

Sure, I will try to send a email to him... See if he can get a actual species.. But i am not sure where i got it... Only found it with my Caulerpa...
