Snails spawn by releasing either eggs or sperm into the water column, in sync with other snails, in hopes that the eggs and sperm will combine. Your snails are both releasing sperm, from the looks of things.
That probably means they like it in there, or it's possible that something triggered them to spawn. Cooler water triggers many freshwater snails to spawn, could that be it?
