snail question

Are there "bad" snails? The reason I ask is I have a ton of small snails which I think are babys but not sure? They are only out when the lights are off making it dificult to get a pick. I noticed after a long time of doing great my green monti cap isn,t looking to hot and my ora birdsnest is missing fleshin spots down to the skeloton. They range insize from a couple of centimeters to pry the size of a pea... they have a rounded shell that is almost ze ra striped with brown and white.... I will try to get a pick but as of now I'm not having any luck.

If you try to catch one, does it leave a tail back? Like a lizard? If so, it might be a stomatella which are nocturnal, very common, breeds easily, and beneficial/harmless. Its shell will look like it's subdermal.

they could be sundial snails...

i know they are known zoa/paly preditors but not sure about the others...
