My snails that were introduced into my new tank 8 days ago have in the past few days become slimy. They leave slime trails everywhere and on the rocks. Two nights ago I began dropping Hikari algae wafers to supplement their diet and now the water is clouding up and the snails are excreting extra slime. Is this normal? What could be going on and what can I do?
