snail smoking?? lol

first time i see something like this..
this snail its on the highest rock i have n his like standing up with the shell up! n he got this very small tube looking,and it looks like theres stuff coming out,looks like smoke lol.. anyone seen this before?

its that the only way, by spawing? i always see new snails in the tank,but never seen any of the big ones doing the smoking thing lol
