Snail?

We noticed this thing about a week ago. It hasn't moved. I tried to remove gently with tweezers but it doesn't budge. There are a couple of antennae that I can see and it appears to create a web like a vermetid web but bigger. The outer body is very skeletal and rough, not like a slug but it's not like any snail I've seen either.

Any ideas?

Well, they don't really hurt much unless you think it's ugly or don't like the webs. You can superglue the aperture shut or chip it off the rock if you don't like it.

Unless it's bothering something, I'd suggest leaving it alone. It's kinda cool.

I'll leave it and reduce my filter feed for a bit. It is cool, another critter to watch I guess. Would just like the one though, not any more!
