Of course it's hard to tell from this shot, but this looks like it might be Norrisia. If so, you might want to take it back. It's a snail from the kelp beds of the West Coast. It's from very cold water and feeds on the kelp. It's not likely to make it long in a reef tank.

I second the words of green bean 36191. This is another great example of why we all need to do research BEFORE we make a purchase or accept an animal. : )

Brown rounded shell and a foot that bright red on top & white below - sure looks like Norrisia. How about a couple of shots from the side & overhead? Might as well find out if it's really Norrisia so you can figure out what to do with it.
