Snails and pods ordering

Hi y'all,

Beaslbob and I are thinking about ordering some snails and pods together from Florida Pets. Is any of you interested in going in together? If there is enough people wanting to order together, I will see if they can give us a special deal. Let me know here if you are interested. We have only 9 days till our meeting. If we hurry up and put our order together, we may be able to split them at the meeting.

I could use some Nass. snails...might have my refugium setup by then, so I might need some cope pods, ect. ? Not sure on the quantity of snails though, probably would depend on the price.

I have my 240 setup and running now for about 8 months, and I could use ALOT more snails!!!

I need to make a order too, maybe they can do us a deal like before. I won't be at the meeting, but they let us order individually with free shipping, with a $25.00 order.
 
Thank you for reminding me about that Mary. I recall that it was you who organized the group buy with them last time.

I just spoke with them and they are going to offer us a similar deal. They will email me the details this afternoon. So stay tuned.

I'm sorry, Nicole, but we can do it again in a little while. Florida Pets are always willing to help us, and I am sure there are always some people who will be looking for critters or plants later.

I hope FP works better for you guys in NA. We tried to get an order three times last fall here in the 'Gump. Never did get the items (alive, that is).
 
I thought that everybody was very happy during the last go around with Florida Pets. I had one mess up with Aquatic Island last year, but they replaced them with a good shipment right away. I am sorry that you had a bad experience.

i am in need of some snails also,ill make the order on monday . i wont be able to make the meeting,so ill have to pay the shipping but sounds like a good deal.
 
just as an fyi, when we ordered last year, they billed me but didnt ship a bunch of items, and almost all the non-snails were dead.

that was the second order--the first order was sent to a completely different address where it was left on a door step...
 
Didn't you order somewhat late and the critters were in cold water when the package arrived?

Now I am very curious. I need an input from those who participated the last time. I did not participate the last group buy with them so I don't have a personal experience with them. I don't want to lead us into a disaster.

Beaslbob indicated that he dealt with them a few times and had good experience with them.

Anyone else?
