Snails and pods ordering

Everything that I ordered was alive and I had no problems, but things can happen. It's good to know that they will try to make it right if something does go wrong.

wasnt there a discussion about one of the common snails being collected off the coasts of the more northern states, and being more cold-water oriented, but were being sold instead of/in addition to the warmer ones?

i've got a snail list, but now i cant remember which was which and didnt want to get those...

...if you can understand what i've asked, you get a gold star. if you can answer it, you get two!

Most of the stuff they wrote about C. prolifera is true including antimocrobial activities associated with it. According to a recent study, the stolon of caulerpa ashmeadii, paspaloises and prolifera is found to contain the highest antibacerial activity. A number of other macroalgae is said to have similar antimicrobial properties. The study did not indicate whether or not fish utilizes their antibacterial properties.

If you want C. prolifera, beaslbob has a lot of them to share.

As for the snails, you must be thinking about Nassarius obsoletus which is collected off South Carolina coast. I don't know about their viability in our reef tanks. I read that a higher temp affects their larvae development.

Nassarius vibex is found in warmer waters and great for reef tanks.
