Snails for a new 29 gal.

My 29 gal. is getting close to putting in the fish and am thinking of putting in some snails first to help stay ahead of any early unwanted algae. The water quality numbers are perfect and the substrate is crushed coral mixed with Arag-Alive Special Grade Sand. Have a Tunze nano skimmer that perculating today with just some LR in the tank so far. Any suggestions of what snails to use?

I picked up a couple of Turbo Snails yesterday for my 12g. Cool lookin little guys, and they're fun to watch.

Although...as of yet they seem to be ignoring the algae chunks on my substrate...which is why I bought them...lol

I have had great luck with a mix of cerith and astrea snails. I also use the nassarius to clean the sandbed.
