Snails keeps falling on to their backs?

I have a bunch of snails in my 65 gallon tank with a 30 gallon fuge. My clean up crew finds its self some times on its back from falling off a rock. I am not sure if it is the same snail or different. I have saved the snail and righted them maybe four times. Could I have just left them to right themselves or would they have died? They looked like they were completely stuck upside down and would have died??? What you think?

if they are astreas, you will need to right them, or they will die. Its an annoying thing with astreas.

I have 1 (of 5) that falls...the rest I have yet to see fall.

yeah, astreas and sand don't mix. maybe just run with cerith snails or something else that can handle it better.

astreas have no problems on a bare tank bottom if they fall

I have both Trochus and Margarita snails that I have to right all the time. It makes me wonder how they ever survive in the wild!
