My last reef tank (years ago) had snails that would breen in the tank. Where could I get snails like this today?

Cerrith snails breed alot in captivity, that may be part of the answer. the other would be most any LFS that sells SW/reef stuff. :)

hey if you pay ground shipping, like 8 bucks i will send you 25-50 ceriths they breed like crazy in my tank i probably have hundreds

i have a couple types of snails that lay eggs but none ever make it. could my six-line wrase be the problem? or my mandarin goby????

I also have big snails laying eggs in my tank and they never seem to make it but i have these small types of snails that reproduce like crazy?

I was wondering what the basic life cycle is for a snail. Do they survive on hair algae right from the egg or do they need a certain type of food like phytoplankton?

thanks anyone.
