Snails

Hi,
just bought some more snails including a conch and currently have them in my quarantine tank. Just wondering should I quarantine these guys for 4 weeks?

Is there food in the quarantine tank for them? I have to admit that I usually don't quarantine my snails or inverts very long, but it also depends on what you have to lose if you introduce a pathogen to your tank.

Yep plenty of algae on in the tank as I let it build up ready to get the snails. So I take it 4 weeks would be long enough?
