I have only had them for maybe 3 months now and have noticed that they are receeding at the base so I assumed they needed more food. Waking up in the middle of the night it not going to happen so I have been working on them in the day time just this week. But they are responding fast to the food. The 1st day I put a ton of live brine shrimp in the nano cube to get them hungry and have been basting them with frozen brine and oyster eggs the rest of the days. They have been opening in the day time a little on their own...and much more after I target feed.
Had ours almost 3 years and they do multiply, depending on food availability.
Cool that you have them opening in the daytime, ours still don't like to come on with the Halides, but haven't really pushed them either.
