Following along, it looks like a good build so far.
Hey Jon,
Been a busy few months for me so haven't given my tank the attention it needs. Had a black out for 24 hours while I was away so my current 4x2x2 crashed bad. Lost all fish and most of the SPS. Anyway that was a few weeks back and i'm now more motivated that ever. Have built my stand and setup a 2ft tank to with some caribsea base rock to start the cycle. My old tank is still running but i'll probably start selling off most of the remaining stock (exept a few acros that partially survived)
I ordered my tank the other day. My last tank got sold by mistake. almost the same as the last one. 60x33x21 starphire. I was too scared to go rimless.
anyway tank should be about 4 weeks then the fun begins.

Your skimmer is the best i have ever had ... it is working for three months now in my new aquarium and i have already got tired of cleaning the colection cup...

Following along for the new build, I plan on using similar dimensions (60"x40"x22").

My Skimmer arriving. The build quality is AMAZING. you can see where the $$$$ go. Started skimming staight away. I just used some NSW from the bottom of my 220L container. must have some old pickle juice in there cuz the skimmer went nuts.
The other cool thing is the skimmer is so bloody quiet.
LOL looks like you could wait to go get a knife. I know how that is when a new skimmer arrives. It's like Christmas all over again! :celeb1:

3 days and its only breaking in :thumbsup:
