Snorkeling in the desert? Is it possible?

I'm planning on a trip to Arizona, Tuscon area in late July, and was wondering if there are any cool spots to hop in the water with snorkeling gear, Rivers, streams, reservoirs, anything really would help. Thanks!

nothing? the closest thing to tucson is rocky point and thats in mexico.

it's monsoon season, when I was there just recently, it thunderstormed almost every night, and have fun in touson, I didn't see much there when I was there.

Try posting in the Tuscon or Phoenix forum. There are a few small lakes and rivers.

rocky point doesnt have the best diving but it gets you wet. also a great place for coronas
