snowflake clowns in anemone

so i'm debating on if i want to get an anemone or not.. most likely a long tentacle green anemone, or something around $20.

1) will it change the color of my snowflakes?
2) do snowflakes host anems?
3) i have pretty high flow in my tank.. is it bad for anemone?
4) lighting is 4x39 watt with bulbs that are 6 mo old.. is that enough light for a basic anemone?

1. it should not change the color of the clowns as far as i know
2. All Captive clownfish are hit and miss with anemone's some host some dont.
3. the anemone will pick its own spot in the tank, if the flow is too high it will go and find a spot with less flow
4. i have seen it down with that amount of light, what size tank do you have?

If you dont have clowns already, i find that clarkii and skunk clowns are more likely to host anemones then your normal occ or pers

I recommend to put your anemone in first that way if you plan on getting corals in the future it won't sting them and also once you get the anemone dont change the flow put all the powerheads and pumps you were gonna get and them put it in and don't ever change the flow or it will move and will sting your corals.

I have a pair of snowflake in a bubble tip anemone and they love it and it looks preetty cool too. You should get your one. I just saw your pics of them and they are beautiful.

i just got them a GBTA from petco for like $20 on sale lol

i put it in today, attached well, still in same spot... now i'm waiting for them to host.. keeping my fingers crossed

My snowflakes from ora did not host the bta but does host the haddoni. When I first introduced a haddoni, they got curious right away :)
