Snowflake Eel Reef Safe?

I have read online that they may be reef safe, is this true? Mine in the FOWLR (soon to be converted to a reef tank) is pretty calm, and hides most of the time. He is about 13-14 inches long, and I kinda like him. If he is slightly reef safe- then what do you guys think he'd be best with, and worst with? Do they eat corals, or just knock them over and stuff?

mine doesnt do anything to corals, he just kicks it casual on the bottom under the rocks

I think they're considered not reef safe since they like to eat all of the crabs/shrimp etc

are there any shrimp or crabs that they don't/won't eat? I know there's no guarantee on that, but does anyone have any experience with them coexisting?

mine hasnt attacked any of my crabs or snails...just keep him well fed
