Snowflake moray eels

If a pencil fits through a hole so can the snowflake. So be prepared for that. I normally start them on live ghost shrimp if they are babies, then switch them to frozen krill for a while. We have had a couple dozen snowflakes in the store over the last two years and they all eat at a different rate. Some eat massive amounts of food and get big fast, others eat one or two pieces and are done.

I feed mine scallop pieces, shrimp sometimes, and the occasional rosey that my lion misses. He eats about 3-4 times a week if he's in the mood. Sometimes won't eat for a week, then eat like its goin out of style the next day! He's about a foot long now!

Additionally, once they get some size on them (18" or so), they tend to become really aggressive. I had to remove mine to a species tank because it began eating/killing its tankmates.

A pretty easy tank resident. Has a good resistance to illness and will eat most any marine frozen food (shrimp, krill, silversides, squid, etc.). Just keep up regular water changes and make sure every nook and cranny is sealed because they will find their way out.
