How long should I wait until I add more fish? Also when should I do a water change. I'm new and I am terrified of my fish dying

theres two trains of thought on when to add more fish, both in my own head,

first, sooner is better than later clowns are extremely territorial once they have claimed territory.

second, slow and steady in this hobby, usually a 2-3 week grace period between fishes to allow your tank to start adjusting to new inhabitants, provided your water tests clear at the end of that period, if not wait longer.

Yea right now I have just him in there. We have another clown fish but it is 4 hours away and we can't go get him for another month. But I don't know if I should add 1 more fish so he won't become to territorial
