So how did everybody make out with this blizzard of "09" I in BPT. got about 9-12" and was out last night at 1am doing round 1 of 5 shovel rounds. but now that it's all done it does look nice and beautifull and the ground will be white for christmas and thats a big +1 for me. And everyone with kids out there, I'm sure those kid's are having sooooooo much fun in the snow ( Wish I was a kid still ) Bersdley zoo and park was packed with sled riders when I drove by and I'm sure Twin Brooks In Trumbull is paked thats a huge sleding hill. We'll everyone stay warm and have a nice Sunday watching football GO Dolphins !!! Brian
 
Here in Stamford it didn't start snowing till about 7pm but overnight everything was covered. I'd say we got about 5-6" total. I doubt most of it will be around for Christmas though. I was really hoping for more snow :)
 
I'm looking 10 minimum, drifts higher in Wesport. Had a good time last night... went to a little informal Christmas gathering of friends. Arrived - no snow. Upon departing at 11:30, everyone's cars were covered. Lots of snow scraping and trying to figure out where the driveway was - me in my humble little VW, everyone else in their fancy cars. And before we even got to the end of the street, one of my friends had put his shiny new 7-series BMW firmly in the ditch. As in the "You're gonna have to call someone tomorrow. That's car's going nowhere tonight" kind of position.

Don't people know that you can't take a BMW out in the snow? ;)
 
All I know is that I have been shoveling it since 9am and I am still not done, and I have a pretty small driveway.
 
I heard Stamford didnt get as much as expected. I'm up in Dunstable Mass. and it started snowing at about 4 am. It's still snowing now as well pretty hard.
 
yea well the temp for the rest of the week isnt gonna go up over 34 so i bet there will be snow at least to christmas eve. And Brett Going to the bridgeport soundtigers game at 4pm there playing the damn hartford wolfpack the Rangers suck Ballsssss . LOL

Have a good time at the game. Looks like the wolfpack got some solid players sent down to them by the Rangers recently.

Sucks though to have the game on football sunday, you have to pry me off the couch with a crowbar today.

Me too. Great, fun little car. Also the worst POS car for driving in the snow that I've ever been in. Nothing that car loved to do more than to spin its rear end around when you're trying to go straight in the snow.
 
I wouldve liked to drive my car around in the snow but like an idiot I killed the battery by leaving it on to play music through the speakers while I shoveled my driveway. My wife was in NY for the weekend so I was stuck till she got back this morning and gave me a jump.

That's for sure. My first one ended up spinning around on black ice and hitting a guard rail on a road in Redding. That was about 25 years ago. Luckily only the right front quarter panel was damaged and we were able to continue on our way out for dinner.

If you ever have that problem again let me know. We're next door in Beacon Falls. We have a battery charger.

When I was younger I use to love driving my little rx-7 around in ths snow, now I stay inside even with 4wd to stay away from the amazing amount of people that THINK they can drive.
